The Port of Montreal is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
To achieve this, incentives will be introduced as early as 2025, offering benefits such as exclusive time slots, express routes and reduced port charges for less polluting trucks. A progressive, tailored approach to encourage more environmentally-friendly transport.
