We wish to inform you that the Felixstowe Port (UK) temporarily closed its operations this afternoon on September 25th, 2020 due to high winds. Its facilities will remain non-operational until 1:00 am tomorrow. This situation could cause a delay in deliveries and container exports scheduled for this weekend and Monday.
This temporary closure is obviously caused by adverse weather conditions and is bad news for many importers and exporters who are already experiencing delays due to limited port operations.
