Due to the current situation, cargo is being impacted by a large number of containers. The storage time for all imported goods will be amended at MGT (Montreal Gateway Terminals) effective Sunday, September 20, 2020 00:01 am.
Montreal import containers unloaded after this date will be granted 5 free calendar days, (maximum 9 days for government inspected units), followed by MGT’s tariff rates.
This measure taken by MGT will increase the prompt removal of import containers from their facilities.
