Halifax leads the way to a greener port 🌍⚓

The Port of Halifax has just received a grant of up to $22.5 million from Transport Canada to prepare for the future of marine fuels.

The funding will support several initiatives: electrification, alternative fuel risk assessment, workforce development, and emissions reduction.

Halifax is multiplying actions to shape its development and ensure its competitiveness amid the maritime transition to decarbonization.
