Hello AP community,

Canadian Pacific Railway resumed rail freight services between Vancouver and Kamloops by midday today, November 23rd, 2021.

CP has quickly mobilized hundreds of employees and contractors to restore rail lines that were damaged by last week’s flooding and mudslides.

Although the railroad has reopened, there are still challenges ahead for BC residents and businesses affected by this event. CP continues to work closely with local authorities and Indigenous communities in the Fraser Canyon to coordinate the distribution of essential supplies, equipment, food and fuel.

Our team will keep you informed as the situation evolves.
