LimakPort Iskenderun, a container terminal in Turkey, was severely damaged by the February 6 earthquake. Management said it would take about three months to bring operations back to normal.

Clean-up operations are underway, following the fire that burned 3,670 containers.

The port handles about 40,000 TEU per month and is located in the southern province of Hatay, where more than 1,200 buildings were destroyed.

Unfortunately, more than 44,000 people lost their lives in the area.
