The transition to cleaner and more sustainable maritime transportation is underway with the exploration of ammonia as an alternative to fossil fuels.

A coalition of major maritime companies, including A.P. Moller – Maersk, Fleet Management Limited, and Sumitomo Corporation, has committed to a feasibility study for using ammonia as a marine fuel on the US East Coast.

This green fuel produces no CO2 when burned and could help the maritime industry achieve its goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. 💪
