Time away from family is listed as another detractor, but trucking offers many office jobs. There seems to be a lack of awareness that trucking and logistics industries need office managers, HR professionals, receptionists, salespeople, and more.
The industry needs to do more to inform women of career opportunities not related to driving trucks.
