The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) have just reached a six-year contractual agreement, averting another major port crisis. 🌊⚓

The agreement, which has yet to be ratified, ensures continuity of operations at East and Gulf Coast ports and supports the US economy during political transition.

According to the parties, the agreement protects current ILA jobs and establishes a favorable framework for implementing technologies to create more jobs while modernizing East and Gulf Coast ports.
