As of August 8th, 2021, the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) will continue the major repairs of the Pierre Laporte Bridge roadways. The work will ensure the durability of the bridge structure. The Pierre Laporte Bridge is an important road link in the greater Quebec City region.
These repairs will be carried out 24 hours a day and will last a maximum of ten (10) consecutive days from August 8th to 18th, 2021. Please note that scheduled dates may change due to weather conditions or operational constraints.
Only one lane will be accessible in each direction during these repairs. These restrictions will obviously have a major impact on traffic and heavy congestion is expected on both sides of the Pierre Laporte and Quebec bridges. It is important to note that traffic will be slowed down between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Therefore, we strongly suggest that you ship your goods outside of this period and plan your pickups and deliveries in advance.
