The MTQ reminds users and shippers of heavy vehicles that the authorized load limits are reduced during the spring thaw period to consider the lower load capacity of the road network.
The dates for lifting the restrictions have been changed as follows:
Zone 1 – From Monday March 9th to Saturday May 9th
Zone 2 – From Monday April 6th to Saturday May 16th
Zone 3 – From Monday April 6th to Saturday May 16th
Please note that these dates are subject to change at the discretion of the MTQ and weather conditions.
